A window that won’t lock usually needs a new handle or a new part inside, not a new window.

If it is not worth repairing, we will tell you.

My window handle is stiff or loose.

It usually needs a new handle or gearbox. It is a quick job.

Can you add a lock to my window?

Yes. We fit window locks and locking handles.

My window won’t close properly. Can it be fixed without a new window?

Nearly always. The hinges or the locking strip inside the frame have worn, and both can be replaced. A new window is rarely the answer.

I’ve lost the key for my window lock.

We can open it and fit a new locking handle with new keys the same visit.

Do you repair wooden windows?

We repair the locks and handles on wooden windows. We do not replace glass or frames.
