Glasgow is mostly tenements and terraces, with newer flats along the Clyde and estates on the edges. In the tenements that means close doors with old mortice locks and flat doors that have had three or four locks over the years; in the newer flats and houses it is plastic (uPVC) and composite doors with a multipoint mechanism inside.
The calls we get most from the city: a uPVC door that will not lock unless you lift the handle, a key that turns but does not open the door, locks changed after a tenant leaves or keys go missing, and lockouts late in the evening. Most of these are one visit. We are based in the city centre, so 30 minutes to an hour is usually right.
